Living 2 hours from the nearest coastline was always going to be a challenge when one of your favourite things to do is surf, and badly at that. But whatever the weather or the time of year, if there was a swell we'd get ourselves to where there would be waves. From the Norfolk coast to Devon & Cornwall. From the South coast to West Wales. We've clocked up the miles in search of 'the perfect wave'.<\/p>
It was on one of these pilgrimages that we realised there must be scores of avid surfers across the country making similar journeys, just like us. The early mornings, the long drives, the \"Great\" British weather. All worth it as you paddle out to the lineup, or catch that first wave of the day.<\/p>
Whether you're popping up on steep green walls, cruising towards the shore on the white water, or even just sitting on the beach looking out over the ever changing landscape of the sea; the feeling is the same. An escape from every day life. This gave us the inspiration to create WhiteWood<\/strong>.
